Ride the rails through Aso's green valley

Japan Railway's Hohi Line passes through the heart of Kyushu, including a couple of stops in the majestic Aso Valley, where our green tea is grown.

Is this a bullet train passing through tea country? Because I know there are some bullet trains that go from the big city through to where the tea gardens are. That would always be a fun trip, especially because it wouldn't take forever. --Teaternity
